Every jersey holds a memory, but on one day each year the Red V carries something more.
We wear their story, we carry their legacy, we pass their flame.
The Red V remembers.
Poppy & Wattle
The poppy is significant to the Anzacs and Australians as a powerful symbol of remembrance, representing fallen soldiers, sacrifice and the bloodshed on the battlefields.Â
Poppies are worn on Remembrance Day and used in Anzac wreaths to honour those lost to war, with relatives often placing them on memorials to keep memories alive.
Wattle's significance to the Anzacs lies in its powerful symbolism of resilience, unity and remembrance. The wattle represents Australian spirit that blossoms even after hardship.
The Soldiers
Inspired by the stained-glass windows of the Australian War Memorial's Hall of Memory, the jersey's side panels feature original artwork of an Australian and a New Zealand solider, both facing forward, standing beneath a "stained glass" poppy.
